Competing against 10 firms, we are thrilled to have won one of the 3 spots to compete in the U of A Property Trust WEST 240 Masterplan Competition! This is to design a mixed use community that will be on a portion of the University of Alberta farm. We have stiff competition against Reimagine and Dialog. Claroscuro has brought on the powerhouse Josephine Ho, Architect and owner of New Calgary firm HOA, she brings incredible Master planning experience. Together we plan to bring a unique local lens to a very special piece of Edmonton history!

OUR TRANSIT ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT IN CALGARY ON 17TH AVENUE IS IN CONSTRUCTION. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO OCCUPANCY AS WE WATCH THE RENDERINGS COME TO LIFE! (EXCUSE THE EERIE IMAGE, IT WAS A VERY SMOKEY DAY!) THIS PROJECT HAS A GRADE CHANGE ALLOWING FOR TIERED LANDSCAPE AND MORE PRIVATE STREET SIDE ENTRY AND PATIO WHILE MAINTAINING A FRIENDLY HUMAN SCALE EXPERIENCE AT GRADE
As fierce animal lovers, we are thrilled to be working with the Edmonton Humane Society on improving their current facility. The existing design is great, but years of heavy use, and changing best practices calls for a rejuvenation!
We have learned about all the subtle considerations and design tweaks that are crucial for a less stressful experience during the animals stay. It has been inspiring to see the passion and thoughtfulness of the staff and management for the animals in their care.
