A Place to Heal: Transitional Housing for Youth

This project addresses a critical community need by providing a supportive haven for young adults transitioning to independence but hindered by challenging life circumstances that have left them without essential skills for success. Designed as a nurturing teaching facility, it empowers residents through comprehensive life skills training—encompassing cooking, laundry, financial management, and fostering harmonious neighborly relations—while offering in-house therapy and round-the-clock support. The vision is to deliver proactive, individualized care, fostering the confidence and capabilities necessary for residents to thrive independently, whether their journey of learning and healing spans months or years.
